What are firewall marks?
A firewall mark is a way of grouping ports for a certain protocol. Using firewall marks enables multiple ports and/or multiple IP addresses to be combined into a single Virtual Service. A common use of this feature is to aggregate port 80 (HTTP) and port 443 (HTTPS) so that when a client fills their shopping cart via HTTP, then moves to HTTPS to give their credit card information, they will remain on the same Real Server.
